Project to include nine Quick Service Workbays, eight Pre-Delivery Inspection Bays, Preparation Centre, a Cafeteria and Central Car Storage facility for 1,000 cars

As part of its strategic expansion program, Behbehani Brothers w.l.l., a leader in the automotive business, announced today that construction of its new state-of-the-art service area facility has begun. The project will facilitate the expansion of the Group's operational function and offer further extended value-added services to its customers.

Scheduled for completion by first quarter of 2017, the facility will comprise a multi-storey car storage facility which can accommodate up to 1,000 cars, a public Cafeteria, an additional nine Quick Service workbays, eight Pre-delivery Inspection Bays, and a workshop which is equipped to the highest level in respect to equipment and technology. All customers from Volkswagen, Porsche, Cherokee, Jeep and Dodge can enjoy a quick turnaround time for routine and minor service activities.

The new service area facility is being constructed by leading construction company, Skyline Trading Corporation, in collaboration with Elevations Architects, SJM Engineering Consultants and Behbehani Solutions.

Founded in 1952, Behbehani Brothers was established by two families, Behbehani and Shirazi, and started its life as a general trading company. Since 1957 the company diversified into the Automotive Retail Industry. As one of the market leaders of the automotive trade in Bahrain, in 2006, to accommodate the increasing demand of growing vehicle sales, brand new facilities were built in Sitra for Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge. Each showroom has a workshop attached which is fully equipped with all the specialist tool requirements of the brands.

The main site at Sitra also has a large Parts warehouse, a sophisticated Vehicle Refinishing Centre and a high-tech Training Academy which is accredited by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) in the UK.
