BAGHDAD / NINA / Oil Ministry called on companies specialized in filtering sector to invents in four refineries / Kirkuk, Samawa, Kut and Basra.
The oil minister, Jabbar Laibi said in a ministry statement today during his visit to the drilling company that "the ministry embarked on the implementation of an ambitious plan to open investment to the firms specializing in the oil and gas sector," stressing "the importance of promoting investment and work to give specialized companies and the private sector greater opportunities and bigger than governmental role in building, develop and rehabilitation the oil facilities, especially the global oil companies to contribute to develop small fields and developed in accordance with the formula of service contracts, as well as on the implementation of the promotion of infrastructure with the participation of the private companies. "
He added, "The ministry initiated to invite specialized companies to invest in filtering sector including refineries Kirkuk, Samawa, Kut and Basra, and there are other projects will be announced by the ministry later."
