The inflation rate stood at 3.7% by the end of July, dropping 0.2 points in comparison with June, said Trade Minister in the Caretaker Government Mohsen Hassen. The Minister, who presented trade indicators when meeting Thursday with outgoing Prime Minister Habib Essid, said foreign trade showed improvement by the end of June as the trade deficit posted a decline and the coverage rate of imports by exports rose compared to the same period last year.

The Trade department granted eight hypermarket authorisations in Tunisia, he also indicated.
