Tunis - The National Institute of Standardization and Industrial Property (INNORPI) and Tunisia TradeNet (TTN) signed, on Friday, September 23, 2016 in Tunis, a cooperation agreement in the field of development of the information system of the activities of certification for export, as part of the 3rd export Development Programme (PDE III).

The first action of the PDE III will be funded, according to a press statement of INNORPI, by the World Bank for a global budget of US $ 200,000 (over 440,000 dinars), for selecting a consulting office specialized in the design and implementation of information systems and the acquisition of required ICTs supplies.

"The achievement of this implementation action of a certification information system for export will help facilitate the procedures for export in Tunisia, both qualitatively (better product competitiveness for export) and quantitatively (considerable savings in time and cost), "the statement reads.

For INNORPI, which is a public body for certification and conformity assessment of products for export, this action will help establish an efficient and effective information system which will be operational from the 1st quarter of 2017 and also dematerialise documents exchanged with the stakeholders (analysis and testing laboratories, customs, ...) as well as economic operators.
