A clip launching the new season of Top Gear shows the crew filming in various locations, including the Abu Dhabi Yas Marina Circuit.

The first episode premieres in the UK on May 29, and will be showing on the Middle East’s BBC First ‘very soon’, according to a spokesperson.

In its 23rd season, hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are replaced by Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc. The duo are joined by four co-presenters — Chris Harris, Sabine Schmitz, Rory Reid and Eddie Jordan — as well as the staple unidentified driver, The Stig.

In the clip, Harris was going “flat out in the raucous Aston Martin Vulcan at the Abu Dhabi GP circuit — filmed on [February 7 and 8] this year,” a spokesperson told tabloid!.

According to Evans, this season “you’re going to see amazing cars in exotic, exciting and bizarre locations.”

The 5.5km Yas Marina Circuit is home to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which happens every November. It is the second Formula One track in the Middle East, with the first located in Bahrain.
