Egyptian supply ministry is currently re-conducting feasibility studies of Damietta Logistics Centre and  Global Trade City projects to decide whether to execute them or not, Minister Mohamed Ali El-Sheikh said Wednesday.

Damietta Logistics centre aims at handling and storing grain and food commodities that would transform Egypt into a global grain handling, processing, and storing hub while the Global Trade City is set to allure international firms to produce and offer all the global brands.

In a press conference , El-Sheikh stated that the ministry cooperates with Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA) and commercial chains firms to establish retail centres in different governorates notably Upper Egypt.

On other side, El-Sheikh clarified that the ministry is currently upgrading its outlets besides boosting the efficiency of all consumer complexes.
