JAKARTA, March 22 (Reuters) - Indonesia's finance minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said on Wednesday the government plans to issue a global sukuk this week.

Indrawati did not give further details on the planned issuance. An official has previously said government will issue global sukuk, euro bonds and samurai bonds in the first half of 2017.

Indonesia has given initial yield guidance of 3.75 percent for a five-year tranche of the U.S.-dollar sukuk and 4.5 percent for 10-year tranche, according to a report by Thomson Reuters publication IFR.
