Beringer Group opens doors to the Middle East

Press Release

October 12, 2008--Cairo, Egypt--Beringer Group, an integrated communications services and consulting firm formally opens its doors to the Middle East this month, launching with it a new focus on quality and return on investment in the growing communications markets of the region.

Historically, international companies investing in the region have been the primary source of revenue for the communications industry.  According to Beringer Group CEO, Kareim Abbouda, "with regionally based businesses growing in strength, however, the time is right for a professional communications firm with international, regional, and domestic experience to offer world-class communications services to the MENA region.

At present, Beringer Group offers professional services in Media Presence Management, Corporate Communications, Crisis Management, and Consumer Development.

While Beringer Group celebrates its official opening in October, client servicing began in the spring of 2008, and the company has already successfully managed several regional and domestic projects in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and across the GCC.

In addition to representing both international and locally based clients, Beringer Group is structured to offer international representation to a growing number of Middle Eastern businesses with interests abroad, Abbouda said.

Abbouda founded Beringer Group on the premise that existing agencies in the region are no longer addressing the long-term interests of businesses, and that a new take on communications consulting and services is needed to take the industry to the next level.  Before founding Beringer Group, Abbouda lead regional operations for global industry leaders in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia.

"For now, public relations and strategic communications remain the strongest division of Beringer Group's services. Over time, however, we will roll-out an expanded portfolio of services that will result in the creation of a fully integrated communications agency with the ability to handle our clients' communications requirements from A to Z in a wide range of industry disciplines," Abbouda said.

From their newly renovated office in Mohandesseen, Beringer Group hopes to make an immediate impact on the development of the public relations and communications industries in Egypt and the Middle East, the company has already begun the process of expanding its human resources, and continues to recruit aggressively in Egypt and the region.

Jonathan BeVille, Vice President for Public Relations and Strategic Communications described this growth as key to company's future in the region.

"Beringer Group is both an international and a local agency, with the ability to deliver to our clients the international experience and local knowledge of its managers and staff.  It is our philosophy that this combination is a powerful tool in giving our clients the confidence that their communications budget will deliver a measurable return on investment that is so elusive in this market," BeVille said.
