Verdict on building Busaiteen mall soon |

Immediate neighbours of Busaiten will now play a deciding role in building of the Busaiteen mall.
Those favouring the mall submitted a petition to the council.
The council after scrutinizing the petition said that the opinion of those in the neighbourhood of the proposed site should also be considered.
Mosab Ahmed Al Shaikh Saleh, spokesperson for the Council said that the mall issue had been hanging for a long while.
Bahrain Tribune had earlier reported on Mohammed Abdulla Ibrahim Al Muttawa, Member representing Busaiteen in the Muharraq Municipal Council proposing the setting up of the mall in his region.
The council asked him to get the figures on the people favouring the mall. Accordingly Al Muttawa brought in a list of people who wanted the mall.
His proposal, however, had to be rejected because a second petition was received from people who were against the mall, saying that it disturbed the peace of the area.
The two sides were competing to prove that they had more numbers than the others.
The council decided to put an end to this issue and at the next meeting of the council the opinion of those living in the immediate neighbourhood of the proposed site was put before the council. "Their word is to be the final say," said Saleh.
